Language of study

  The preparatory department page states that foreign citizens are taught in Russian at the university, while the fee order and the admission FAQ also mention programmes taught in English (see the list above).

Admission for international students

  Applications can be submitted in person at the faculty admissions office, by post to the admissions committee (29 Komsomolsky Prospekt, Perm 614990), or online through the 'University admission online' service on Gosuslugi via the ruID app.

• Foreign applicants to paid placesfor international students

  For paid places, a foreign applicant without Unified State Exam results may take the university's internal exams (including mathematics; English instead of maths for Linguistics in Russian-taught programmes, Russian for Linguistics in English-taught ones); registration in room 174 of the main building or via [email protected].

• for international students

  Foreign education documents must undergo evaluation: holders submit the legalised originals with subjects and grades plus a notarised Russian translation, and a passport copy with notarised translation, to the International Relations Office (room 329, [email protected]).

  Dormitory rates for 2025–2026 (from 1 September 2025) for paid (full-cost) students: 1,800 to 2,800 RUB per bed per month depending on the building type (1,000–1,400 RUB for budget students). No 2026–2027 rates were found.

  The university allocates a limited number of dormitory places to preparatory-department students, at Mira St. (15, 28) and Professora Dedyukina St. (18, 24); the trip to the academic buildings by public transport takes about 20–30 minutes.

Student life and services

  Since 2016 the university has had a Foreign Students' Council that organises trips around Perm Krai, excursions, concerts and a speaking club.
