"Gazprom" Industry Olympiad

International students eligible — official list

A sector olympiad (mathematics, physics, chemistry, ICT, economics, engineering). The qualifier is online and the final is in person on the organizing universities' platforms. Participating in the final grants bonus points, and winning (with EGE 75+) may grant admission without exams at the organizing universities — subject to conditions. ⚠️ Some final-round platforms require a Russian passport to enter — an important point for foreigners. International students are eligible according to the official list: the olympiad is on the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education's 2026/27 list for the foreign-student quota — the admission benefits themselves vary by programme and admission rules. Competitive and not guaranteed. Check the official site before applying.
